Having had the opportunity to know more migrants, a postman in Greece decided to make a unique gesture, meant to draw attention to the problems that people face respective. Ilias Vrochidis went on a journey that can take him home countries of migrants to meet.
Riding a motorcycle and “quiver” full of letters. That left the way through the world, a Greek postal worker. His goal proved to be one noble as possible, in a period where the number of migrants increases.

Ilias Vrochidis is 31 years old and is originally from Thessaloniki. In 2013, the man decided to go on a trip through Africa and the Balkans, the purpose of which would be a novelty: the delivery of letters migrants from Greece to their families back home.
Ilias hoped so it will give a helping hand to public awareness of the problems of migrants, writes protothema.gr .
His plan began to take shape in a period where refugee crisis takes shape.
“Travelling to the homes of migrants who I met in Greece, I met people who were very surprised by my gesture and I did not understand how we got to know the children, siblings or my friends and I took on the task to deliver letters, “he told the postman.
“Even though many of them kept in touch with relatives through the Internet, were all very pleased to receive letters, and to know that we have known families,” he added.
After 22 months on the road, Ilias already crossed 58,000 kilometers.
Subsequently, the road started with him and his girlfriend. Until now, together they went to Morocco, and the following destinations are: Mauritania, Seng, Guinea-Bissau, Ivory Coast, Ghana, Burkina Faso, Togo, Benin, Nigeria, Cameroon, Republic of Congo, Zambia, Namibia, South Africa Kingdom of Lesotho, the Kingdom of Swaziland, Botswana, Zimbabwe and Mozambique.
