The podium was completed this year by Noma, Copenhagen, Denmark, owned by Rene Redzepi , and Asador Etxebarri, whose master chef is Victor Arguinzoniz of Atxondo, Spain . Last year, this title was won by Osteria Francescana, the site in Modena owned by Italian master chef Massimo Bottura.
